Billy Vunipola ruled out of Quilter Internationals

Vunipola's brother prop Mako also suffered a calf strain while forward Isiekwe added to the national team's injury woes by suffering an ankle sprain.

The injury, which forced him from the field during the second half of a 13-3 win for the Premiership champions at Scotstoun, will require surgery and is sure to rule him out of England's autumn fixtures against South Africa, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

Billy Vunipola has struggled for more than a year to play a sustained spell of rugby.

"Billy has fractured his left arm and will have surgery on Tuesday". Nick Isiekwe sprained his ankle and is being assessed to determine the full extent of the problem. "He is expected to be out of action for around 12 weeks", confirmed Saracens in a statement.

Meanwhile, Mako Vunipola also picked up a calf strain against Warriors, but the England prop will be monitored and should be back in time for the Six Nations.

Vunipola has only started three internationals in two years because of a series of injuries. This time it is his left arm that has incurred the injury.

It also provides a further selection headache for England head coach Eddie Jones, particularly at No 8.

Sam Simmonds was already out after tearing knee ligaments and Nathan Hughes faces a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

He is due to name his squad for the November games on Thursday.

Wasps captain Joe Launchbury is another who will be unavailable after undergoing knee surgery.
