Barbra Streisand Makes Some 'Memories' On Carpool Karaoke

Barbra Streisand did Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and the video is just what you expected - and wanted.

The famous songwriter revealed it took her four attempts to pass her written driving test to get her license renewed, claiming she was "so nervous".

Babs asks Corden. It quickly cuts to the two singing the seminal show tune from Funny Girl, "Don't Rain On My Parade" - a role which won Streisand an Oscar in 1969. It seems her driving skills haven't improved that much since either as Streisand admitted she even found herself driving on the wrong side of the highway recently.

Did Streisand make you laugh?

"I've got to be honest, though, if this is how I go out, I'll take it", Corden quipped.

Corden also gets the legendary singer-actress to talk about her long hiatus from live performances, and she admits she's still not hot on the idea of performing live in front of an audience. You'd think after 50 years, people would pronounce it correctly!

"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England", she complained. "Streisand" with a soft S, like sand on the beach.

Streisand never mentions the president by name, but she doesn't have to.

"Let me just say this. I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and he delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name, finally, with the next update".

Stresiand did confirm that it was Tiffany Haddish who explained to her who Cardi B was, as Haddish had previously said, but it was James Corden who introduced her to Cardi's music.
