Chelsea v Crystal Palace: Blues may take time to secure win

Chelsea are the top contenders to the Premier League title alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.

It was around this time previous year that Crystal Palace and Chelsea collided. Pedro is likely to be the man to miss out (he is also nursing a knock), while Álvaro Morata will be hoping to build on a lively display at Turf Moor.

The west London side have won seven times and have drawn three games to secure 24 points from their opening 10 games in the Premier League.

The Argentina worldwide has been in fine form for Watford this season with five goals in 11 Premier League games.

Still, this, on paper, is another game that we should be winning.

Chelsea's starting eleven to face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge this afternoon has been announced, with Eden Hazard being named on the bench.

And Roy Hodgson has used today's match to open the door to a Crystal Palace return, praising the midfielder in the process.

"The Eagles' attack relies heavily on Wilfried Zaha, and if he does not produce some magic then they look short of ideas". Even without Eden Hazard they looked a class apart from Burnley last weekend, and were convincing winners.

Chelsea Manager, Mauricio Sarri has told former Nigerian global, Victor Moses that he is not in his plans and therefore should be ready to leave.

While Moses is struggling for a place in The Blues' mainframe, 22-year-old Loftus-Cheek has found his form and had a recent hat-trick to show in the Europa League, such that Sarri is now eager to keep the youngster.

The Blues will make the trip to BATE Borisov in their next Europa League fixture on Thursday 8 November.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is no doubt Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper and should start between the sticks on Sunday. The Belgian global returned to training on Thursday but Sarri says he's not ready to play the full ninety minutes just yet so Hazard may have to make-do with a place on the bench.
