Disney Unveils First Footage of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Rides

Disney Parks has released some new teasers and videos promoting the upcoming theme park, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Long under construction, the Star Wars-focused Galaxy's Edge theme park attractions due to open at Disneyland in California and Disney's Hollywood Studio in Florida are getting a little extra flare from someone with a long association with the movies.

As you can see, the video also contains looks at various corners of the unfinished park.

Also unveiled Saturday was Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, an attraction that will pit guests in the middle of a battle between Leia Organa's Resistance and the dark First Order.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run is the official name of the previously announced Millennium Falcon experience, which will let riders pilot Han Solo and Chewbacca's famous ship. And we now know the names of the two attractions that will be featured in the 14-acre lands. I definitely spotted an interior from the Millennium Falcon.

The videos were originally released by Disney Parks Chairman Bob Chapek at D23's Destination D event at the Walt Disney World Resort this weekend.

And this footage below of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was shot inside the actual attraction.

What is Star Wars without the iconic theme music from John Williams?

The park is now set to open in two phases over 2019: in the summer in Disneyland, and in the fall in Disney World.
