Online Action RPG 'Dauntless' Coming to Xbox One in April 2019

Another of the games profiled during The Game Awards earlier today was Dauntless, a free-to-play online RPG which was shown off in a new trailer that showcased four-player boss battles (a trailer which, alas, we've not been able to track down and share with you).

Monster Hunter-scented actioner Dauntless is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in 2019.

Dauntless arrives on Xbox One and PS4 sometime in April 2019. Check out the trailer below.

"One Dauntless will provide players with a universal ecosystem centered around their personal Dauntless experience".

It's great to see that this game will be cross-play between a variety of devices. Dubbed Frostfall, this will focus on reshaping the Shattered Isle and is available to players on December 6. Like other major multiplayer titles, Pheonix Labs is aiming to add cross-play across all systems for a shared experience they are calling "One Dauntless". "The new update ushers in brand new seasonal content as a deep freeze descends on Ramsgate, and Slayers will also have a chilling challenge on their hands with the introduction of a new Behemoth: Valomyr", it said in a press release detailing the update. Phoenix Labs is also launching the Dauntless Hunt Pass starting December 6, which will provide players with new challenges and big rewards. This includes customisations and purchased items as well.

For those currently playing on PC, the winter expansion Frostfall is now available through The Hunt Pass which is available for $10 and features exclusive content.
