Sandra Bullock Had a Crush on Her Speed Co-Star Keanu Reeves

Sandra Bullock is spilling the beans about her crush on former costar Keanu Reeves.

"I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was", Bullock told DeGeneres, exaggerating a swoon as she recalled working with the actor.

Despite some professional highs, Sandra Bullock says 2018 was a year of deeply personal challenges. Bullock added of the apocalyptic film, in which she and Paulson play sisters. "And then a week later I'm in the bathtub crying and the kids are like, 'Is mommy OK?' And everyone is like, 'Just leave mommy in the bathtub, she's going to be fine.' So you know, it's life, but when you lose your little rides or die, it makes things different". "Like, he would look at me and I'd be like [giggles]". "He was very sweet". "I think it's true".

Bullock disagreed. "Not at all".

Adapted from Josh Malerman's 2014 novel by legendary (yet wildly inconsistent) director Susanne Bier (Brothers, In A Better World), the movie stars Bullock as a mother attempting to protect her two children from supernatural entities which cause anyone who looks at them to commit suicide. "But I think we're probably friends for that long because we didn't [date]".

"Days later, 'Your dad's not doing well, '" Bullock said.

"Is that how you do it?"

Bullock then made a hilarious "acceptance" speech as DeGeneres ended the segment: 'That's not our building, so they may take it down'. She felt her dad was settled and went home telling herself, "OK, there's a reason for this".

"Maybe that's why he didn't want to be with you", the host quips. She starred in two films this year, "Ocean's 8" and "Bird Box".
