The total lunar eclipse will last about five hours and in five phases. The moon will be at its bloodiest, most super and wolfiest just after midnight.
Americans will be able to watch the start of the eclipse on Sunday evening.
Step outside on Sunday night and be treated to a rare lunar event, dubbed the "super blood wolf eclipse".
So why does the Moon appear red?
But to see the decade's final total eclipse of the moon, all you need is one hour and two minutes.
Although it is set to be a late Sunday night, there is no shortage of activities inside the centre in the lead-up to the eclipse. The eclipse will begin around 3.30am and the Moon will be completely eclipsed around 5.40am.
Capturing the eclipse on camera might prove a bit more hard for photographers, so astronomy expert Alan Dyer has a guide on How to Photograph the 2019 Lunar Eclipse.
Canada is optimally placed to see it, given that there are clear skies. "Our world can change the appearance of another world, and during an eclipse, the universe lets us see this color play", she said. But that last part is because of something much cooler: an eclipse.
However not all sunlight is blocked, and because the Earth's atmosphere allows the red wavelength light to pass through, the Moon reflects those and appears to have a reddish colour. There will be livestreaming of the eclipse online, such as at timeanddate.com and the Virtual Telescope Project.
The peak time to catch this phenomenon in Newbury is around 5am. This is the beginning of the partial eclipse.
An alignment of the sun, Earth and moon is going to bring about a super blood wolf moon eclipse.
It will start on Monday 21 January (NZT) and be visible from Europe and the United States, through to Africa and Russian Federation.
"The chances (of seeing it) around here are looking real slim", said Joey Clevenger, forecaster for the National Weather Service in Spokane.
Of course, as is the case in a large theater, auditorium or concert hall, some will have a better view than others.
2 According to the NASA website, the lunar eclipse taught people that the Earth is round when they saw Earth's shadow on the moon. "Front row center" belongs to those who live near and along the U.S. East Coast, where the totally eclipsed moon will climb to extraordinary heights.
"Right now it looks like it's full cloud cover with a mixture of snow and whatever else New England can throw at us", Brothers said.
A supermoon is a full moon occurring at perigee, the moon's closest point to Earth in its orbit. "What happens in this particular supermoon is that the moon will appear 14 percent larger, and it will appear 30 percent brighter". The shadow show will end at 1:51 a.m.
Total lunar eclipses occur only during full moons.
The red-tinted moon will again reach full eclipse at about 12:12 p.m. EST (9:12 p.m. PST) - when it is in the very middle of the umbra.
