Arsenal Keylor Navas bid reports 'not true', says Unai Emery

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be on the verge of a move to Arsenal, according to Diario Sport.

Leno was forced to wait for his Arsenal debut, as Emery persisted with Petr Cech between the sticks, even as it became increasingly clear that the former Chelsea man was not comfortable at all with the Gunners' passing style and was waning in shot-stopping terms.

Navas appeared to say goodbye to Madrid supporters in an Instagram post, sparking speculation that a move away could be imminent.

Arsenal have already tabled an offer of £14m for the goalkeeper.

Real Madrid goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, has dropped a major hint about leaving the Spanish giants.

With his contract due to expire this summer, the Welshman has been tipped to leave on a free and Juventus have confirmed their interest in signing him.

"I don't know", said Emery, when asked whether he knew if Ramsey had held talks with the Italian champions.

Cech, 36, is likely to start when Arsenal face League One side Blackpool in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

While he would certainly be an upgrade on Bernd Leno, who looks more and more like the second coming of Loris Karius with every Arsenal defeat, but it would represent incredibly short term thinking from Arsenal if they were to cast him aside after just half a season.

Emery said after the Fulham game that he believes Ramsey will stay until the summer rather than be sold during the January window, and he again called on the midfielder to remain focused.
