Apex Legends update adds Valentine’s Day skins, bug fixes

The update adds a number of Valentine's Day themed items to its virtual store including the Shot Through The Heart skin for Longbow DRM, Live Die Live banner badge and a Love of the Game Pathfinder banner frame.

As mentioned, the patch also implements some important bug fixes, including remedying holes in the map that you could fall through, and areas where you could get stuck. The patch also fixed an exploit which allowed players to continue duplicating items in their inventory.

The latest update for "Apex Legends" fixes a few geometry issues in the map.

Here's the latest on the Apex Legends server and login issues, with the official support account confirming: "We are aware of login/connection issues reported for Apex Legends and now investigating".

Apex Legends has three Valentine's Day cosmetics available now through February 19.

Along with the new items, the patch fixed and issue where extended timeout was causing players with slower hard drives to crash. These will be live and available in the store starting 2/13 until 2/19 and then they're gone! "Sorry for the issue and working to get you folks back in the game".

While the number of outage reports has dropped, there has been a recent surge in players across all platforms recording loading screen issues.

Fixed issue where your friends list showed all your friends as offline and unable to party. Most service-based games received Valentine's Day content this week, so it's cool to see Apex Legends join the party.

Some slight changes have been made to the core gameplay, as well, with the Arc Star now displaying a grenade warning indicator, so you'll get more of a heads-up (or a heads-down, rather).

Additionally, the developer's have shortened the duration of Bloodhound's Eye of the Allfather clones to remain in the world by 1 second. Is Respawn doing enough to keep players active?
