Arsenal manager Emery prepared to rotate squad for Bournemouth

Asked if he has made a decision about the permanent transfer of Suarez, Emery said: 'For me so far, each match and each week can change a lot. The club is working for change'.

Arsenal face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Wednesday as the club look to consolidate their position in the top four ahead of hard matches against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and Manchester United next week.

Ozil has had a bit-part role at Arsenal this season under Emery, starting only 13 Premier League games, less than half of the Gunners' 27 outings.

"We have a lot of matches and it's important to have big performances like (this)".

Arsenal returned to the top four with a comfortable 2-0 win over Southampton yesterday at the Emirates Stadium.

But Emery clearly views Suarez as a long-term asset and the player too wants to stay back in London beyond the summer. "Sometimes that is in the first 11 but when we need the player on the bench we need a good mentality and a good performance to help us win in the second half when there are injuries or when players are exhausted".

'I think Suarez is improving with his adaptation every day.

Barcelona were initially interested in a permanent deal at the start of the season but Arsenal's cash crush meant that Unai Emery was only able to sanction loan deals. He can not play 90 minutes because he needs rhythm.

'One possibility is he starts and knows that [he would come off] or he comes off the bench.

'We are very demanding to work hard, be focused and show everyone we can improve and be better every day.

'For him, all the minutes he gets are important. On Sunday [against Southampton] my idea was to play him for some minutes but after Lichtsteiner's injury I couldn't give him those minutes. "But tomorrow is another opportunity".
