George Clooney protested against Meghan Markle

She later added: "He did try to contact her she was the one who ignored him and all of us".

"Oh yes, I'll be godfather of the royals apparently", Clooney told Who, before clarifying he was joking, "No!" No one deserves that... Meghan, who is reportedly seven months pregnant, looked blooming gorgeous in a fabulous outfit which consnsiuted of a white dress by Calvin Klein, teamed with a co-ordinating Amanda Wakeley coat, which she had previously worn in March 2018.

She added: "I would challenge her to take a lie detector test anywhere on the planet with investigators that are not paid by her to skew the results".

In the letter she wrote for Hello! magazine, the mom of two confirmed that she and the late Princess of Wales never really felt as though they were at odds with each other.

Meghan gleamed as she arrived at the venue with hubby Prince Harry for the gala performance of award-wining drama, The Wider Earth.

The tweet read: "The Duchess of Sussex still deserves better than how she has been treated", which prompted the 33-year-old princess to respond: "Absolutely!"

They were also the first people to reveal the existence of the letter and said Meghan wrote it in an attempt to mend their rift privately.

George Clooney is a friend of Harry and Meghan and he and his human rights lawyer wife Amal attended the royal wedding in May past year (pictured) as well as visiting the couple at their Cotswolds home.

It was recently reported that Kensington Palace had to deal with a shocking amount of abuse aimed toward Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton every week.

"They're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she's been pursued and vilified", Clooney told reporters at an global press panel for his forthcoming Stan series Catch-22 in Pasadena, California on February 11.

But the host of the radio show said that the royal historian that was there just minutes before he called already said that nobody else had suffered the level of abuse that Markle is now facing.

Mr Markle revealed the letter to the Daily Mail on Sunday.

Previous sensationalist headlines in British tabloids since Meghan's marriage to Harry have focused on her alleged "tantrums" and her "tit-for-tat war" with Catherine.
