United battled back to dramatically extend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten start as manager last night.

The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season but it appears the club is ready to sell now.

United have the option to extend the deal by a further year.

Several players, especially the ones who haven't been a part of the Norwegian's preferred starting lineup, have been linked with potential exits in the January transfer window.

"United wasted time with Mourinho, they won a couple of trophies but ultimately, he took them back another step. But I thought at times, in the first half, Juan [Mata] found some great positions", Solskjaer said.

Solskjaer has collected spectacular seven wins from eight matches, including away victories against Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal.

"But we don't. You have to start properly in each game and today we didn't start off well enough to cause Burnley enough problems".

"We are disappointed with ourselves", said World Cup victor Pogba. "We played like we were winning 1-0 or 2-0, that's where we went wrong", BBC quoted the French midfielder. "The result was disappointing".

Martial has been reinvigorated by Solskjaer, just like Marcus Rashford, who is to be the subject of a £100m swoop from Real Madrid before he signs a new deal himself, according to the Sun.

"Like I said, the reaction was good", Pogba added.

"I think it is two points lost, we expected more from this game. But, like I say, we learn from our mistakes".
