Bears Sign Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to One-Year Deal

Chicago quickly filled the hole left by the departed Callahan with veteran Buster Skrine, most recently of the Jets.

Clinton Dix arrived with the Redskins in October of last season, with the Redskins sending a fourth-round pick to the Green Bay Packers to make the deal go down.

Jordan Howard #24 of the Chicago Bears is hit by Ha Ha Clinton-Dix #21 of the Green Bay Packers as he scores a touchdown in the 4th quarter at Soldier Field on December 18, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois. Clinton-Dix adds to one of the most-dominant defenses in the league last season. The Bears get a former Pro Bowl safety for just $3.5 million, while the departed Amos - a very similar player - just signed a deal with an average annual value of $9.25 million.

Now, Clinton-Dix will join his second new team in the span of six months.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix's time with the Redskins appears to be over.

After playing in 78 consecutive Green Bay games (including the playoffs) after joining the Packers as a first-round draft choice in 2014, Clinton-Dix will be on his third team in less than a year. His extensive experience within the division could prove invaluable when it comes to knowing opposing quarterbacks and coaches' tendencies.

The Ha Ha Clinton-Dix experiment for the Washington Redskins is over.
