Gayle King Reveals What She Felt During R. Kelly’s Emotional Breakdown

Fellow Fox host Dana Perino had to tell Watters that it was ABC reporter Robin Roberts who interviewed Jussie Smollett, not King.

Watters's co-host Dana Perino corrected him after the false remark, to which he responded, "Oh, I knew that", before apologizing.

Roberts said that she was allowed to press and challenge Smollett on details that were not clear with his story.

Then it would have been said that Roberts had conducted a patient, nonjudgmental and satisfactorily probative interview (except by the people still determined not to believe Smollett, and there would have been some).

Right as King sat down across from Colbert, she excitedly revealed that she'd just gotten a personal phone call from iconic musician Elton John moments before coming out onto stage.

King said that she wanted Perino to pass on a message to her friends at Fox News. And could you let the rest of your colleagues know that all black people do not look alike? If I'm too light on him, it's like because you're in the community you are giving him a pass. "What can I do to save this interview?'".

She was among several alleged Kelly victims who spoke out in the docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly", in which she described being forced to perform sex acts in what was known as the "black room". Please don't leave because I really thought we have seen him storm out of interviews before'. I've never received any funds from R. Kelly.

As for her safety, King made it very clear that she never even thought he would intentionally attack her but she admitted that she was indeed anxious him flailing his fists like that would lead to him accidentally hitting her.

Only problem is, that wasn't King who interviewed Smollett.

The Savages say they haven't seen their daughter in person in more than two years.

"How stupid would it be for me, with my insane past and what I've been through - oh right, now I just think I have to be monster, and hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don't let them eat, don't let them out, unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle!"

Kelly insisted to King that he was innocent, saying he was being "buried alive" and "assassinated". Quit playing! I didn't do this stuff! Y'all killing me with this s-!
