IPL 2019, Match 5: Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings- Match Prediction

MS Dhoni is known for his wit and humour and he did not miss a chance to tease his Chennai teammate Kedar Jadhav. They will look to continue their winning run when they face Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla on March 26 (Tuesday).

Delhi Capitals started off their campaign with a resounding 37 runs victory against the Mumbai Indians yesterday.

Following his swashbuckling innings in the previous match, the spotlight will continue to remain on Rishabh Pant. This is expected to be a tougher match for CSK since the conditions will not favour the spinners like what was seen in Chennai for the opening match. In addition, Delhi Capitals, who played a match on Sunday night and travelled to Delhi on Monday, will have to recover from the fatigue of their journey and get into match-mode quickly.

In the CSK line-up, Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu looked good in the brief while they were at the crease in the opener.

The track is likely to suit CSK more, owing to their lethal spin department led by Harbhajan, Ravindra Jadeja and Imran Tahir.

The outcome of Saturday's game will depend on which team bowls better and holds its nerve as both side have players who can turn a match on its head in a jiffy.

Harbhajan took 3 for 20 and Tahir 3 for 9 as RCB were skittled for just 70.

Dream XI: Pant (captain), Dhawan, Ingram, Watson, Rayudu, Axar, Bravo, Rabada, Harbhajan (vice-captain), Tahir, Thakur.

Delhi played on a batting paradise at the Wankhede Stadium, while the Super Kings played on a low and slow turner in the season opener.

Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who led the Super Kings to their third IPL title after returning from an illegal gambling ban past year, elected to field first in the 12th edition of the world's most popular Twenty20 league.

Where to watch (TV): Star Sports 1, 2, Select 1 and other regional languages channels of Star Sports.
