The Heels held a 78-70 lead when Trapp nailed a 3-pointer from the corner that made it 78-75 with just under a minute to play, and the Heels called a timeout with 39.3 seconds left on the clock.
Marquise Reed led Clemson with 24 points, and Elijah Thomas had 14 points and 11 rebounds. After another UNC bucket, the lead was extended to seven again. He may not be back to coach the 2nd half at Clemson. Down two, Shelton Mitchell got the rebound off a missed UNC free throw.
Clemson basketball is on a two-game winning streak, but that's coming off a time where they had lost three-straight beforehand. The game was stopped for about a minute.
