Hot streak? Chris Davis belts his first home run of 2019

The former home run champion is 0 for 33 this season.

Davis' dinger came in the eighth inning of Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox.

For Davis, it was the slugger's first home run since August 24.

The Orioles now lead the Red Sox 2-0 in the third.

Baltimore will need Davis to find his groove again at the plate, especially since he still has three seasons left on his $161 million deal.

The hitless streak is finally over!

After grounding out in his second at-bat, Davis lined the first pitch of his third into the right-center gap for a double, driving in a run to push Baltimore in front 3-2.

Chris Davis' deep freeze is over now, too.

Given how poorly Davis started the season, his recent stretch can be considered a hot streak. It took Davis until Saturday to break out of that slump, which lasted 54 at-bats.

The model recommends two full-game moneylines, and one moneyline for the first five innings (F5) on Monday.

"I think the biggest thing for me is just not having the headache of having to answer questions, and have my teammates have to answer questions, and [manager Brandon] Hyde - I mean, good grief, he's had to answer questions pretty much every day about me", Davis told reporters Saturday.

The days of Davis receiving MVP votes are over, but he still walks and can provide pop.
