Taylor Swift Just Unloaded Her New Single 'ME!' Featuring Brendon Urie

Later, Swift joined Robin Roberts live from Nashville during ABC's coverage of the first round of the National Football League draft where she confirmed the new song and music video will be released at midnight.

For her latest hit (that is sure to cruise to the top of the Hot 100), she enlists the services of Brendon Urie of Panic!

On Thursday afternoon, Swift surprised hundreds of her fans by joining them at the unveiling of a butterfly wing mural in the Gulch area of Nashville.

The rumors only grew once Swift revealed that she was, indeed, releasing new music-and her single, "Me!", was a collab with openly pansexual Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie. It also marks her first release under Republic Records at Universal; her previous six albums were released under Big Machine Label Group. At The Disco would be featured on her new song.

Dates also seem to be significant for Swift. Other fans are even thinking that "Lover" might actually be the name of her upcoming album.

For her second-to-last look of the 4-minute video, the singer goes back to her Tennessee roots and slips on a pair of white cowboy boots to dance alongside Urie.

Here's your guide to the Taylor Swift "ME!" references you might have missed in the new music and video so far. The new era is a total 180 from the hardcore black-and-white, snake-driven aesthetic of Reputation.

Swift spoke about her new music in an interview with ABC. She supports them just as much as the fans support her, which is no small task.

She told Roberts that she couldn't "believe how dedicated" her fans are. Each speech she gives or open letter she writes, she somehow connects to millions of people and plays a part in each of their lives in different ways. "Me!" features lyrics apologizing for one's shortcomings, noting "I know there's a lot of cool chicks out there", but asserting that nobody is going to love that special person out there like "me-HEE-HEE!"
