Tiger Woods shows up to his Florida restaurant rocking Masters green jacket

USA golfer Tiger Woods celebrating after winning the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, last weekend.

It's not the number five that is so astonishing (although Tiger now sits alone in second all-time behind Jack Nicklaus' six Masters Tournament championships) but it's the number of years in between his previous major tournament championship.

The 39-year-old told Golf Digest that the 14-1 bet was his first sports wager. "Having a chance to see him do it on his terms with his kids there, I was speechless for two days". "It's a painful day for William Hill - our biggest loss ever - but a great day for golf". With Tiger taking it all at Augusta National, a little Tiger is now on the way.

Jordan warned Woods's opponents this season that the Masters win is only the beginning.

"I m pretty sure he questioned himself, whether he could get it back, and he had to put a lot of work in".

It was that way that Eldrick Tont Woods, known to the world of golf by only one name - Tiger - dissolved every doubter and naysayer; Jordan included, to his own delight.

"He s probably the only person who believed he could get back".

The only thing better than the jacket-shorts-Frank hat trio is the little girl in the photo could not be less impressed with the picture.

But, as Jordan said, Woods likely drew on his lifetime of experience to keep his cool under pressure as others began to close in on his lead at the Masters.

"They got problems", Jordan said of Woods' rivals on the PGA Tour. Hopefully we'll have a nice sit-down dinner and rehash everything at the next tournament and not necessarily celebrate it, but enjoy it and reminisce a little bit.

"I never thought he'd get back physically", he admitted. Tiger has suffered from many injuries: 2010 neck injury, 2011 sprained MCL and Achilles, 2012 another Achilles injury, 2014, 2015, and 2017 back surgeries, and then in 2019 he won his first major since 2008.
