
CEO Pete Lau in a recent interview specified that the OnePlus 7 Pro would come with a "fast and smooth" display, adding that the company has "invested significantly" to build its display.
The OnePlus 7 Pro measures 162.6 x 76 x 8.8mm and it is fitted with a massive and notch-less AMOLED display of 6.64 inches. Along with this the smartphone will also pack 12GB of RAM. It'll be fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery with support for 20W rapid charging and will be made available in Mirror Grey, Almond, and Nebula Blue colours. The smartphone will be running on OxygenOS based Android 9 Pie OS.
Hours after OnePlus teased its 2019 flagship's camera with a cover story shoot for Harper's Bazaar India, official OnePlus 7 Pro press renders have leaked out online showing the triple-camera setup that was used and the rest of the phone's sleek design. Now the first thing to note is that the for the first time, OnePlus is going to enable 90Hz screen on its smartphone and it is going to do so with the ability to switch between lower refresh rates and higher refresh rates.
Harper's Bazaar tweeted out the cover photo as well as a statement about using the OnePlus 7 Pro to create it.
The OnePlus GM1917 is the OnePlus 7 Pro variant. The teaser says, "We just made your phone slower", and features a video that shows items scrolling very quickly in a list on screen. However, the handset has already appeared on Geekbench with 12 GB of RAM. The new leak has further revealed that it will be featuring a 4,000mAh battery that will be equipped with support for 30W Warp Charge through USB-C. It is expected that the device will house a main sensor of 48MP accompanied with telephoto lens for 3x optical zoom and an ultra-wide angle lens. The triple cameras and the popup front camera try to compete with the likes of Samsung and Huawei.
The OnePlus 7 series is scheduled to arrive on May 14, and it seems like a YouTuber mistakenly published some images of the OnePlus 7 product packaging, along with some upcoming accessories.
