Ruiz vows to win rematch as Joshua is 'not good at boxing'

The heavyweight rematch, which is thought to be taking place later this year, is a shot at redemption for Joshua, who was humbled by the surprise victor Ruiz Jr on June 1.

Just moments earlier, he had Ruiz on the floor and looked to be set to finish the fight there and then. Bellew had previously held the WBC cruiserweight belt before moving up to fight David Haye in a pair of heavyweight bouts.

Ruiz who was ridiculed for his rotund physique in fight week, vowed to weigh in lighter than his first fight with Joshua.

However, he will now have to win a rematch with Ruiz before either of those megafights could be made. Ruiz and Joshua will likely meet again in the next several months, with a location yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, it is rumoured AJ's rematch with Ruiz will be on November 16 - if the fight takes place at either at Wembley or Tottenham's new £1billion stadium.

"I thought it was two bums fighting each other", Fury said about Ruiz Jr and Joshua. You know a lot of people, and I'm speaking to Joshua too, because he was overlooking me and saying.

"He's not good at boxing, he's not a good boxer. He's not a good boxer".

He said: "I think his people are trying to get something [to explain] why he lost like that".

The 29-year-old Mexican boxer pulled one of the biggest upsets in sport history to defeat Joshua on June 1. 'There is going to be a lot of changing, I am going to come at a better weight this time. "It's going to be a hell of a fight".

"I'd like to fight him [Joseph Parker] after we get the fight I have first", Ruiz told a large media gathering at a victory celebration in California at the weekend.
