Wonder Woman 1984 Poster Shows Off Gal Gadot’s New Gold Costume

Wonder Woman 1984 Poster Shows Off Gal Gadot’s New Gold Costume

Wonder Woman 84 is slated to hit the screens on June 5, 2020 worldwide.

Director Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot have debuted the first official poster from the highly-awaited Warner Bros. tentpole, Wonder Woman 1984.

The film will see the return of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, as well as Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, despite the whole him being exploded thing. "We are so excited for what's to come", Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot herself said in an Instagram post of the poster, which features our titular heroine rocking a new, all-gold suit that would make even C-3PO gag.

DC fans were in for an unbelievable mid-week surprise.

The poster leans gleefully into psychedelic '80s colors, so if you had any suspicion WW84 would be rife with nostalgia, consider it confirmed (honestly, the early stills tipped us off)!

Gadot herself shared it as well, with the caption, "I can not wait to share #WW84 with you all!"

The event, which has been going on for three years, has become one of the highlights of Wednesday's preview night, with a fun vibe in a more controlled venue in comparison to the Hall H. "Until then we thought you might want to see this".

Gadot will reprise her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, an Amazonian warrior with super powers. Wonder Woman has gone full Golden Eagle, and our hearts have almost stopped.

Wonder Woman has so far appeared in three DC films. She was also a part of Justice League.
