Meg Lanning broke her own record for the highest ever individual score in a Women's T20 global as Australia inflicted England's biggest T20 defeat to clinch the Ashes series outright.

She peppered the crowd with seven sixes and struck 17 boundaries in a devastating display of power hitting.

After Alyssa Healy (four) fell in the first over, the Aussie skipper put on 134 with Beth Mooney (54 off 33 balls) in 11.4 overs. Their previous record was 209/4 (20 overs) against England Women at Mumbai (Brabourne Stadium) on 31st March 2018. Lizelle Lee scored an unbeaten 169 off 84 balls in the 2013 CSA Women's Provincial T20 Cup for North West against Mpumalanga.
