Love Island: Are there still feelings between Michael and Amber?

Curtis Pritchard admits he has been "lying" in his relationship with Amy Hart as Love Island contestants are reunited when the girls return from Casa Amor for a dramatic recoupling.

The recoupling saw Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill split as Michael coupled up with new girl Joanna Chimonides.

The awkward moment and heated tensions led Amber to brand Joanna a "dead ting", before she later accused her former beau of trying to be a "big man".

She simply said: "It is what it is, he's a single guy he can do what he wants".

Standing at the fire pit in the main villa, Tommy - holding Molly-Mae's cuddly toy Ellie Belly - told the islanders and host Caroline Flack that he had missed her. She says: "Dennon is really amusing and all I do is have belly aches laughing and then Marvin is more serious but he's so mature and I love that".

With heads turning left, right and centre, it seems that everything could change tonight - so how will the couples look after the Recoupling and who will be dumped from the Island? "That wasn't nice. It hurt my feelings a lot". But Michael still has Amber - who he is coupled up with - on his mind.

Curtis is not aware that Amy has confided in Molly-Mae Hague that she is in love with him. Meanwhile, Curtis recoupled with Amy, Tommy recoupled with Molly-Mae.

After having time to take it all in, and after having some advice from her gal pals, Amy wants to readdress things with Curtis.

"Being here and not being able to contact him, not being able to see him has been so gut wrenching for me".

Another agreed: "I feel like Lucie wants Tommy to be jealous". I wanna make you laugh. "For you, it was out of sight, out of mind".

Appearing on Lorraine this morning (July 4), the Strictly professional dancer said: "Curtis wears his heart on his sleeve".

"I always say you're fantastic".

He added: "This is cringey as f** but you complete me".

Michael then says: "I know that you have a heart of gold".

Curtis says "You don't ever back yourself?"

Others praised him for taking inspiration from Rihanna lyrics ('only girl in the world') and Tom Cruise in 1996 rom-com Jerry Maguire ('you complete me').

Amy then says "For me, absence made the heart grow stronger".

She continues: "I never thought you'd do this to me, you're the flawless man after all".

Amy replied: "You're a liar, you're a compulsive liar" before walking off.

Lucie, however, stuck around, professing her adoration for Tommy Fury, who Joe had been anxious about during his time in the villa.

Later, Curtis and Tommy chat again about Curtis' current predicament.

Tommy says "Regardless of what has happened, I still want the friendship there. I don't want to lose that".

The presenter said: "Oh bless you, you're making me cry now".

As if Tommy and Molly Mae weren't enough with their strikingly good looks, they now actually look to have a genuine relationship meaning that they could go on to be the 2019 Love Island winners.

Later on, Molly-Mae Hughes said she is falling in love with Tommy, which he repeated back to her.

A new love triangle develops as Anna is left torn between Jordan and Ovie.

However, viewers saw Anna admit to Jordan Hames she still has feelings for him.

"It's her decision now - I've done everything I can". "Then I said I'm not over thinking anything anymore, I'm not going with my head and I feel something and I'm so confused and I don't understand what it is". "But it seems like it's really easy for you". I just thought everything would be ok.

Amy replies "Exactly. That is what I held on to at Casa Amor and you still went behind my back and got with someone else".

Love Island airs nightly at 9.00pm on Virgin Media Two.
