Pacquiao beats Thurman on split decision

Senator Christopher "Bong" Go has filed a Senate resolution congratulating and commending Senator Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao for his victory over erstwhile undefeated American Keith Thurman in their World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title fight in Las Vegas.

Based on CPPO's monitoring in different police stations in North Cotabato, no crime has ever been committed on July 21.

Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, Westmincom chief, said the soldiers stand motivated and proud of Pacquiao for bringing Filipinos another honor and glory with his acumen and grit.

And, since Andy was AT the Pacquiao vs. Thurman fight, we asked the heavyweight champ for his professional opinion. who wins?!

Amir Khan has refused to rule out a possible showdown with Manny Pacquiao this November despite the Filipino star recently distancing himself from a fight with the Brit. "Indeed, he is a living legend in the field of sports", he stressed. At 40 years old, Pacquiao secured the WBA Welterweight World Championship. This was a lovely night of boxing.

"But I just thought that I would be able to do some countering, utilize my jab from the outside, and really pressure him in the way that I did", he added. One judge gave Thurman 114-113, overruled by two judges who gave Pacquiao 115-112.

"I wish I had a bit more output to go toe-to-toe". He recovered well from a knockdown in the first round and controlled most of the middle rounds.

"I knew without a doubt I would become a fighter - I knew that the underdog can, and often does, win".

"There's talk about Manny Pacquiao, whether that happens or if that doesn't happen, then a Danny Garcia rematch is another one which could happen".

"I want to thank the fans". It was a great night of boxing.

"So really, I feel that he's back top of his game again".

In Sunday's bout, Pacquiao scored his 61st win against seven defeats and two draws. Thurman falls to 29-1 (22 KOs).
