NFL.com confirms that Hill has earned an additional four-game suspension due to another violation of the NFL's substance-abuse policy.
Since Hill will miss eight games this season, that means he'll miss out on half his salary. That is if the Vikings elect to keep Hill on the roster with the eight-game suspension.
Minnesota Vikings corner Holton Hill was suspended for four games due to violating the NFL's policy regarding PEDs. The undrafted free agent, who signed with the team as a rookie previous year, played in all 16 games for Minnesota during the 2018 season and even saw three starts.
This isn't the first time Hill has been in trouble for off-field issues. He started three games as a rookie after injuries forced the defensive back into the starting lineup, recording 36 tackles, seven passes defensed and one interception last season. In the Big 12, Hill made five interceptions between his freshman and junior seasons with Texas including 122 total tackles.
Minnesota finished 8-7-1, missing the playoffs one year after going 13-3 and reaching the NFC Championship Game.
