Arsenal turn their attention away from Rugani and now want Barcelona man

Arsenal have already signed four new players in the summer transfer window, starting with Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli.

Juventus have accepted a £65million (€70.6m) offer from Tottenham for Dybala, according to Sky Sports.

Now though there seems to be another twist with L'Equipe reporting that Arsenal are seriously considering a loan move for the Brazilian and Barcelona too want to offload him.

Football fans were rocked with some odd news on early Tuesday, as reports surfaced suggesting that Barcelona's Brazilian star Coutinho, now the 5th most expensive player of all-time, was on the verge of joining Arsenal on loan.

However, it emerged that Eriksen's negotiations with the Old Trafford side had ended on Tuesday morning.

- That would boost Real Madrid's hopes of signing Paul Pogba from United. The cover of Sport says the Spanish champions are looking for Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic - who is potentially set for Paris Saint-Germain - to depart so they can land the Brazil star from the Ligue 1 giants.

Furthermore, Barcelona are also demanding that Neymar drops his court case that he is seeking about €30m (£28m/$34m) from Barca, an amount he claims he was being owed for penning a contract extension ahead of his switch to the French topflight.

At one point, the deal looked pretty probable but then Unai Emery made it pretty clear that Arsenal have no plans of moving for the playmaker.

Additionally, in the same report, it is being claimed that Arsenal is not prepared to meet the £55 Million that Leipzig wants for Dayot Upamecano.

And he is rumoured to be heading for a return to England, with Spurs last night joining their three Premier League rivals in a desperate late scramble to get a deal done by the deadline.
