Bayern romp to 23-0 win over amateur side in friendly

Ghana global striker Okyere Kwasi Wriedt scored a hat-trick for Bayern Munch when they dismantled lower-tier side Rottach-Egern 23-0 in a pre-season friendly win on Thursday.

They also faced Bayern last summer, when the score was 20-2.

Meanwhile, 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning France global Lucas Hernandez said he is feeling "100 percent" after making his long-awaited debut for the German giants.

Bayern Munich produced another clinical display as they netted the ball 23 times in a pre-season friendly clash against amateur side FC Rottach-Egern.

Lucas Hernandez made his first appearance since his club record 80m euros (£68m) move from Atletico Madrid. "I feel close to 100 per cent", Hernandez told Bild.

"I have no discomfort, I feel physically very well and I'm ready to compete 100 percent".

Hernandez could make his official debut on Monday when defending champions Bayern travel to Energie Cottbus in the DFB-Pokal first round.

Sarpreet Singh has scored his first goal from open play for Bayern Munich, although the match will surely be remembered for the scoreline.

Bayern open their Bundesliga campaign next Saturday.

The Bundesliga champions have signed two defenders and a forward at the ongoing transfer window, and Lewandowski believes the club need more players.
