Cam Reddish To Have Best NBA Career, According To Rookie Survey

Zion Williamson has been hailed as the next big thing in the National Basketball Association, but his colleagues in the incoming rookie class aren't sold on the idea that the No. 1 overall pick will have a great National Basketball Association career.

Stunningly, the #1 overall pick Zion Williamson was tied for 4th with only 5 percent of the vote, which begs the question, does the 2019 NBA Draft class know something we don't?

Cam Reddish, Williamson's teammate at Duke, garnered 19% of the votes.

National Basketball Association draft picks for 2019 have some of the best young talents and these rookies are ready to become the next big thing.

The 2019 rookie survey, which is compiled on a yearly basis by NBA.com's John Schuhmann, featured a variety of interesting answers and responses and also featured a couple of notable Atlanta Hawks rookies within its ranks. He was a five-star recruit out of Westtown School in West Chester, PA, and appeared in three high school all-star games.

Williamson was the story of college basketball last season and averaged 22.6 points, along with 8.9 rebounds, while shooting 68 per cent from the field.

Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett stole plenty of headlines leading up to and after the 2019 NBA Draft, but it was the third member of the famed Duke freshman trio that has rookies watching closely.

Bol Bol and Kevin Porter Jr. were seen by their peers as the biggest steal in the draft.

Other winners in the poll included Tyler Herro (Miami, best shooter), Matisse Thybulle (Philadelphia, best defender), and second overall pick Ja Morant (Memphis, best playmaker). While the Knicks doesn't have that many great players, Barrett is their current star despite being a rookie.
