
In a message to McConnell on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez wrote: "These young men look like they work for you".
Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's team responded to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asking if McConnell was "paying for young men to practice groping and choking members of Congress".
It's the second time since last weekend McConnell has received negative criticism to a social media post. "Thanks." Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Monday evening. "These young men are not campaign staff; they're high schoolers".
In the photo, which was taken from Instagram and but was posted on Twitter, one of the men appears to be trying to kiss the cutout while another appears to be making a choking gesture.
He also took heat after his campaign shared an image of tombstones showing some of his perceived victories as a "Grim Reaper of Socialism", which included the Green New Deal, one-time Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland and senatorial candidate Amy McGath, who is running for McConnell's seat in 2020.
The photo shows seven men in "Team Mitch" T-shirts posing with the cutout, but one of the men is groping her while the other pretends to choke her.

"The photo was the second controversial image to come out of Team Mitch's participation at the Fancy Farm picnic", according to HuffPost.
The teens are supporters who attended an annual political picnic in Kentucky. McConnell's campaign did not elaborate when Fox News requested details about the allegation against Ocasio-Cortez.
The senator has been staying at his Louisville home over the summer break as he recovers from a broken shoulder after a fall. Trump also tweeted, asking for bipartisan legislation on stronger background checks. You've been sitting on it since February giving bogus excuses.
