Pokemon Sword & Shield will have new 'Galarian Forms'

Two Pokemon Sword and Shield new rivals were showcased in this trailer.

As promised, so much new information has arrived on Pokemon Sword and Shield today.

In fact, the trailer confirms that region-specific forms are returning in Sword and Shield.

After the form of Alola seen in Pokemon Sole and Luna, therefore, the Game Freak has chose to continue to propose the regional forms, introducing in the case of Pokemon Sword and Shield the forms of Galar.

Pokemon Sword and Shield release on the Switch on November 15, 2019.

On top of that, an all new creature was revealed that can actually change his type based on his level of hunger!

There's also an adorable silver/black-colored Galarian form of Zigzagoon and Linoone as well as its brand-new evolution Obstagoon. The Galarian forms so far confirmed include a Galarian Weezing which appears to have chimneys on its head, and it is grey in colour. Meanwhile, Morpeko is a yellow Electric/Dark hamster-like Pokemon in Full Belly Mode but turns into Hangry Mode with black and purple angry looks (as well as a Dark Type Aura Wheel move).

Let's face it, I was already sold on the upcoming Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch, but with every new detail revealed I can feel my excitement building.

Each Pokemon Center in the Galar region features a new type of PC called a Rotomi. You'll also encounter members of Team Yell on your adventure, who seem to support Marnie in her quest to become Champion.

Apparently, there are corporations and universities which request the help of Pokemon through Poke Jobs.
