Nike hasn't revealed the price of its latest self-lacing shoes, but it could very well in the same ballpark as the $350 Adapt BB released earlier this year. Shortly after, National Basketball Association players were auto-lacing up the kicks and playing games in them. The technology, which is run from a midfoot motor, is controlled by a multi-faceted Nike Adapt app.

Nike has dropped its new self-lacing smart shoe, Adapt Huaraches, and along with some neat lighting options, you can now also ask Siri to untie your shoes. It's a revelatory innovation, especially for athletes who may need to frequently adjust the fit of their shoes as play goes on. The Nike Adapt Huarache will retail for $349. While it's a running-style shoe, it's ultimately been a staple of Nike's lifestyle rotation for years now alongside classics like the Air Force One and Air Max 90.

The Adapt Huarache features the brand's FitAdapt technology, which Nike claims will "update and evolve along with the user".

Using Siri you'll be able to loosen Nike's newest Adapt shoes. The app includes an enormous number of preset fit recommendation to make it usable by any kind of user.

While the Adapt tech has, as previously mentioned, been a huge leap in sports innovation Nike argues that it'll be just as helpful in everyday life. The company says you can setup custom Siri shortcuts, apart from the preset modes offered out-of-the-box, to tighten the Nike shoe based on your liking or picking the color of the two LEDs baked into the soul. First unveiled nearly three decades ago back in 1991, it completely transformed the landscape of sneakers back in the day, and it looks like the Beaverton-based brand are planning to replicate this game-changing formula once again with the brand new Adapt Huarache!

The Nike Adapt Huarache will hit Nike's apps and select stores on September 13th in grey and yellow colorways.
