He said the worldwide community should play a due role in resolution of the longstanding issue of Jammu and Kashmir. I said it's good because if they do, they'll not be able to go back to Pakistan.
He said the world should intervene to resolve the situation.

Referring to issue of Afghanistan, he said stability is need of the hour in the war torn country.
He had himself accused Pakistan of lies and deceit in a New Year's tweet in 2018, for not doing enough to combat terrorism despite receiving billions in support from the United States.

The leaders spoke about regional issues, including tensions with Iran and peace efforts in Afghanistan.
Appreciating the political wisdom and acumen of Imran Khan, he said he trusts Pakistan and Prime Minister Imran Khan. "China has given us a great opportunity to lift ourselves up from where we are right now", he added.
