Texans defensive end J.J. Watt says he's out for the year

Raiders injury report came out for Week 8 vs. the Texans and the two big names on the report were Tyrell Williams and Trent Brown. Watt also had a little extra fun on Twitter, essentially confirming that as well.

The teams have yet to officially announce the trade involving Conley, who was the Raiders' first-round pick and 24th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

J.J. Watt left the Texans' game against the Raiders in the second quarter with an injury and did not return, and the post-game speculation is extremely grim. I truly love this game and can't stand letting you guys down.

This is the third time in four seasons that the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year has had a season-ending injury. "Thank you for all of the thoughts & well-wishes", he wrote.

But the Texans will have to play the rest of the season without their star defensive end J.J. Watt. "Can't replace him on or off the field".

The deal comes one day after the Raiders' secondary was lit up for 429 yards and five touchdowns by Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers' offense, a game in which Conley struggled.

The Texans (5-3) will play at Jacksonville next weekend.
