Arsenal will be aiming to continue from their impressive form in the Europa League when they host Standard Liege on Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.

Emery's side have been vulnerable in defence since the start of the campaign, conceding in six of their nine games in all competitions.

The Gunners overcame, arguably, what will be their toughest task of the group stage, beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in Germany, a game that was much tighter than the scoreline suggests.

Emery revealed he had not spoken to Clarke, but added: "I asked Kieran yesterday, because we were waiting for him to be consistently playing with [Arsenal]".

After their excursions in the Monday night clash with Manchester United, Emery is likely to field a vastly differing side on Thursday night as he looks to freshen up his squad before another round of Premier League fixtures.

According to TRT Spor, Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has made a decision to leave the Premier League side and he's now looking for a new club to play for.

"With us, he can play, but we are taking precautions to not play him in a lot of matches in a few days".

"Hector Bellerin is the same, but with a small difference because he was injured for more time".

'But if he is feeling well, then tomorrow, normally, he is going to play'.
