Mauricio Pochettino emerges as target for Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man United

Former Arsenal captain, Martin Keown, believes that the North London club should consider approach to sign the ex-Tottenham Argentinean manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Love Spurs, Manchester United comprise persevered a unhappy open to the 2019-20 campaign and sit seventh in the Premier League ahead of Sunday's shuttle to Sheffield United.

The reason I am finding myself part of the business world is simply because leaders are seeing the great similarity between the two worlds.

"I always thought that these 11 months were not a waste of time. How long that will be, you can never tell, but I'm happy here".

"I think they have to see me as Mr Inter, Mr Real Madrid, Mr Porto".

"I really like this squad and looking to the young players there's not one manager in the world that doesn't like to play young players and to help young players to develop".

When you study their decision, it's the very uncomfortable Premier League position, seeing Tottenham huddled amongst the lower end of the league listings at number 14, which appears to be completely unacceptable to the board, and what has, in effect drove the decision. "If we come out of this season with top four but without a trophy, I wouldn't be happy".

Tottenham chiefs chose to fire Mauricio Pochettino following the club's unimpressive performance this season where they now occupy 14th position on the standings. The Portuguese manager has insisted that the club do not sell Harry Kane.

There has been talk that United could consider turning to Pochettino to take over from Solskjaer, whose side have only managed two more points than Spurs from their opening 12 Premier League games of the season.

United now sit in seventh place in the Premier League, nine points behind the top-four, and face a tough challenge if they can secure a return to the Champions League next season. I wouldn't say it's a [big] job.

'And it was the same for Ole as successfully - I may presumably perhaps perhaps also witness where his head was at, where he wished the club to be at and for me it was righteous a no-brainer.
