Amid impeachment vote, Giuliani visits White House

Trump has asked Giuliani to brief Republican senators and the Justice Department about information he collected on a visit to Ukraine last week, The Journal reported.

President Donald Trump's private attorney, Rudy Giuliani, was in the White House on Friday, the exact same day a Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives panel accepted impeachment charges against Trump. Those who support new legislation, including members of Putin's United Russia party, say they want to protect parents' right to discipline their children and to reduce the state's ability to meddle in family life.

The impeachment charges against Trump are related to whether he pressured Zelenskiy during a July 25 call to investigate Trump's political opponent, Joe Biden.

Even as impeachment swirled, Giuliani stunned Washington by traveling to Ukraine this month to further his probe.

As for Giuliani, the former mayor has persisted in pushing the belief - previously held only on the fringes of the conservative movement - that Ukraine may have attempted to interfere in the 2016 election. Trump, though, showed no concern.

The former mayor of NY has played a key role in trying to collect dirt on Trump's potential Democratic political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, in the 2020 elections.

"Well, I don't know what he found, but if he wants to come to the Judiciary Committee - Rudy, if you want to come and tell us what you found, I'd be glad to talk to you", Graham responded.

President Donald Trump's private lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, needed a translation app on his phone for Russian documents, according to a Friday report from The Wall Street Journal.

But the reconsideration of a central tenet of the president's foreign policy underscores the growing political risks in forging closer relations with Russian Federation, as long as the FBI investigates his campaign associates' connections to Moscow and congressional committees ramp up their probe of Russia's meddling in the 2016 election.

He was accompanied by correspondents from the conservative One America News Network, which is producing a documentary about his work.
