Harvey Weinstein: 'My Work Has Been Forgotten'

In a new interview, the disgraced producer has claimed to be a champion of women, despite being accused of raping and sexually assaulting them throughout his career. Along with that, Weinstein said "It all got eviscerated because of what happened".

"Harvey Weinstein is trying to gaslight society again", the statement said. Weinstein is accused of raping an unnamed longtime lover in 2013, and forcibly performing oral sex on production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006.

The Weinstein Co.co-founder, who was interviewed while recuperating at the hospital where he recently underwent spinal surgery, reportedly agreed to the sit-down to prove his need for medical attention to skeptics. "Higher paid than all the men".

"I made a success out of myself. I had no money, and I built quite an empire with Miramax and chose to give back", he continued while talking up about his modest upbringing. He now faces charges of predatory sexual assault, criminal sex acts, and rape.

Weinstein arrived at a hearing last week looking frail and using a walker, and his attorney Donna Rotunno said in court that her client was scheduled to have back surgery.

"He will be remembered by the collective will of countless women who stood up and said "Enough".

"The postscript to that chapter of my life is where it gets extremely complicated for me, because information came to light about who he was and how he was behaving that I didn't know during my already very hard time with him", Paltrow said.

"The issues and charges in the criminal case should be the sole focus at this time", Allred said in a statement to ABC News.

He also saw his bail increased from one million dollars (£750,000) to five million (£3.8 million) over allegations that he violated bail conditions by mishandling his electronic ankle monitor.

Harvey Weinstein is escorted in handcuffs into the State Supreme Court after on Monday for arraignment on charges alleging he committed a sex crime against a third woman on 9 July 2018 in New York City. "Whatever he has done professionally for women may or may not be relevant at the time of sentencing if he is convicted".

"Mr. Weinstein was in a serious auto accident in August, which resulted in a concussion and has now necessitated the need for back surgery later this week", Rotunno said in a statement.

Weinstein even used the actress Gwyneth Paltrow as an example of his good work - even though she was one of the first women in Hollywood to speak out against him.
