NFL WR Pryor stabbed in Pittsburgh

Free-agent receiver Terrelle Pryor is expected to make a full recovery after he was stabbed Friday night, according to his agent.

Terrelle was reportedly at his apartment when the violence broke out.

Police officers were called to UPMC Mercy after a stabbing victim walked into the hospital just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman, who wouldn't confirm that the victim was Pryor.

An agent for Terrelle Pryor says the National Football League wide receiver's family has been told he is expected to make a full recovery after being stabbed.

He led the Ohio State Buckeyes to two big ten championships when he was the quarterback there from 2008 to 2010.

He played for the Raiders, Browns, Redskins, Bills, and Jets.

And, because it's rivalry's worth mentioning Terrelle went 3-0 against MI when he was QB1 for OSU. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Saturday morning that a close family friend of Pryor believes he will survive the stabbing. But we can not discount the fact that he went over 1,000 yards the year before in Cleveland, playing with some pretty very bad quarterbacks, no less.

We'll continue to monitor this situation as news becomes available.
