OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has announced the official arrival of the company's next-generation display with an incredible 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the display also comes with the multi-scene auto-dimming, ambient light sensor, and screen color temperature dimming, among other things.
We have seen so many smartphones with multiple cameras at the rear but it downgrades the look and design of the smartphone.
Along with the 120Hz refresh rate screen, the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone will boast a 2K+ ultra-clear resolution. But, for videos, there's an additional hurdle.
10-bit HDR is also included in the package, and the company claims that each screen is calibrated at the factory for accurate colors.
The phone is also said to pack incredible brightness reaching more than 1,000 nits.
The past renders did show that the smartphone will come with a punch-hole display in place of a pop-up module, and this matches. The higher a screen's refresh rate, the more fluid its animations and scrolling will seem.
The first leak of OnePlus 8 series started past year soon after the launch of OnePlus 7T series. Other brands including Nubia and Realme have offered their devices with the same. Of course, 120Hz panels refresh more often than a 90Hz one, meaning they're even more pleasing to use. While the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, the OnePlus 8 Lite may be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L chipset.
The OnePlus 8 Pro that is believed to have the IN2023 model number was seen on Geekbench benchmarks recently. Of course, Express.co.uk will keep you up to date with any announcements from the Chinese tech giant.
