Police Arrest Woman On Suspicion Of Pooping In Car Park Eight Times

Police in MA have arrested a woman accused of repeatedly defecating in front of a sporting goods store.

Police in MA say 51-year-old Andrea Grocer was caught red handed early on Wednesday morning after pulling over in a parking lot outside a sporting goods store to answer nature's call.

Police told the paper Andrea F. Grocer, 51, of Ashland, faces eight counts of wanton destruction of property for eight alleged incidents of using the parking lot of the Natick Outdoor Store as a toilet.

At first, the waste was thought to have come from an animal, but toilet papers and wipes were located nearby, suggesting that the culprit was human.

Store owner Henry Kanner says he first spotted poop in his vehicle park back in December and initially put it down to animals, but he later saw toilet paper and wipes in the area and realised that the culprit was most likely human.

Police increased patrols in the area hoping to apprehend the suspect, and just before 7am on Wednesday they busted Grocer with her trousers down.

When confronted, she told the officer she has irritable bowel syndrome and was on her way to her job as a nanny, a police report says, according to NBC Boston.

A cop was staking out the area on Wednesday when he allegedly caught Grocer pooping out of her vehicle.

The officer also called her employer, who confirmed she could have just pooped at their house.

When the officer asked Grocer why she didn't stop to go in a number of nearby businesses, including a Dunkin' and Roche Brothers, she reportedly said that "she should have and would next time".

Store owner Henry Kanner said he couldn't understand why she did it - but was flush with excitement at her arrest. 'I have no idea who she is'.

At Grocer's arraignment Wednesday, her lawyer called her a "pillar of the community" who works full time.

She is due back in court on March 2.
