Donald Trump takes dig at South Korean film 'Parasite'

At a rally in Colorado Springs Thursday, President Donald Trump poked fun at this year's Academy Award victor for best picture, the South Korean film "Parasite". The actress has unleashed a powerful strike at the president for criticizing the Bong Joon Ho-directed movie's Best Picture win at this year's Academy Awards.

Donald Trump was apparently not a fan of this 12 months's Academy Awards. "Trump said in the" Keep America Great" rally, which: "We have enough troubles with South Korea, together with commerce. What the hell was that all about?

"I'm looking for, let's get "Gone with the Wind"..."

In January, after Parasite won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, Bong said during his acceptance speech, "Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more incredible films".

Trump also said he had no idea if "Parasite" was good. The president seemed to be upset because the tape comes from South Korea and received the award, unlike "What the wind took away", victor of the same award in 1940, or "The Twilight of the Gods", which ran out of the statuette in 1951.

It also won Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Foreign Language Film. On top of it that they provide them the very best picture of this year?

Parasite actually made history as the first foreign-language film to ever win Best Picture at the Oscars.

NEON, the film's distributor, replied to Trump, tweeting it is "understandable" why he would say such things because "he can't read", referring to the subtitles.

It did not take long for Trump to react by bashing Pitt in a public manner. I was never a big fan of his.

When American actress Meryl Streep won an honorary award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes in 2017, she used her acceptance speech to attack Trump for mocking a disabled reporter during a campaign event in 2015.

"(Pitt) got up and said little wiseguy statements", the president said.

Later in his rally speech, Trump took aim at Brad Pitt, who delivered a jab at the Senate's impeachment trial when he accepted his supporting actor trophy for "Once Upon a Time.in Hollywood".
