Rising star rapper Pop Smoke reportedly shot and killed in invasion robbery

At around 4:30 a.m., the men "fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke".

TMZ was the first to report the news, reporting that Pop Smoke was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood.

Police officers detained several people from inside the house, though they were later released.

It was so popular that it was eventually remixed twice, with those tracks featuring prolific artists such as Skepta and Nicki Minaj.

Among those were 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj, who remixed the NY rapper's hit song, "Welcome to the Party".

The rapper was the apparent victim of a home invasion robbery early Wednesday morning in Hollywood. Pop Smoke was scheduled to begin a month-long North American tour on March 2, and then perform in England in April.

This seems to suggest to some folks that Pop Smoke could have known his assailants and that some beef was involved, but there is no evidence to corroborate those sentiments at this time. "We are devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of Pop Smoke", a representative for Republic Records wrote in a statement.

Pop Smoke was fatally shot by home intruders on February 20.

Between two and six suspects fled the scene and as of this writing, have not been caught, according to the LA Times.

Chance The Rapper, Quavo, 50 Cent and Ice T are among the other famous figures who have honored Pop on social media. "God Bless and comfort your family". As yet, it also remains unclear whether Smoke knew his killers.

Kylie shares her two-year-old daughter Stormi with her amicable ex Travis Scott, who worked with Pop on the 2019 song Gatti. He was 20. The rapper's death came just days after his new mixtape, Meet the Woo 2, debuted in the Top Ten of the Rolling Stone albums chart.
