
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh recently revealed he has advanced lung cancer.
It was on Limbaugh's own show on Monday that he delivered the devastating news that he has advanced lung cancer.

"Trump presented the medal to Limbaugh, 69, "... in recognition for all that you have done for our nation ... to millions of people a day, and all of the incredible work that you have done for charity". I thought about trying to do this without anybody knowing, because I don't like making things about me. "I wish I didn't have to tell you this and I thought about not telling anybody", he said on his show.
"Many people do not know what a great guy and fantastic political talent the great Rush Limbaugh is".
Limbaugh, sitting next to first lady Melania Trump in the House balcony, stood and was applauded by Republican lawmakers. "And then, Trump announced it and [that] he had to like, you know, pretend that this was some kind of Oprah moment, was so disingenuous", she said.
Rubin was responding to actor Rob Reiner, who tweeted: "I loathe this f--g man".
Limbaugh is known for his impact on conservative radio and is a staunch supporter of President Trump, who also praised him on Twitter following the announcement of his diagnosis. "Rush Limbaugh, thank you for your tireless devotion to our country".
Limbaugh's first national radio show launched from NY in 1988 and he's had national prominence since.
Limbaugh has been been a nationally syndicated talk show host for 31 years, and is heard in hundreds of markets from coast to coast.
