Two dead in shooting at Texas A&M Commerce campus

Two people are dead and another person was injured in a shooting at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Monday, university officials said.

Students and employees were told to shelter in place as a precaution after the shooting Monday at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

According to the TAMUC website, Pride Rock is "a three-story, suite style residence hall for male and female students that recently graduated high school". Texas A&M-Commerce University is a satellite campus located about 65 miles northeast of Dallas. The wounded victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
