The border between Canada and the US will close for non-essential travel by Saturday morning, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday.

"We are continuing to work on the fine tuning of the agreement between Canada, the United States".

The new program will provide up to $900 biweekly for a 14-week period.
