John Krasinski surprises kid with original 'Hamilton' cast reunion

This is an absolute gem of a video.

John Krasinski had an immediate hit with his debut of "Some Good News" on YouTube, with the first episode getting more than 12.1 million views.

Besides the impromptu song, Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt, have obtained tickets to "Hamilton" for Aubrey for a future performance. "At least we're safe & healthy". "Listen, I know you had something to do with this, Tom Brady, and even though you ripped my heart straight out of my chest a few weeks ago, by God, you put it right back in with this lovely act of kindness".

Hearing this news, Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt promised to fly Aubrey and her mother out to NY to see the show once the crisis had passed over. "How does that sound?"

"No matter how dark it gets, there's always good in the world", he says.

Off goes the Zoom dial-in tone, and Hamilton composer Lin-Manuel Miranda jumps on the call.

Cue the rest of the "Hamilton" cast - including Anthony Ramos, Leslie Odom Jr. and more - who "zoom-bombed" in along with Miranda to sing the musical's title track as Aubrey repeatedly covered her mouth in shock. In one segment, Krasinski chatted to Aubrey, a Hamilton superfan who planned to see the Broadway musical for her 9th birthday but was forced to stay home due to government directives.

This week he praised a number of companies, sports teams and individuals that were offering up their services to make PPE for front line staff, before sharing other good news stories such as parents relishing home-schooling and those making efforts to feed the homeless and vulnerable in their area. "I think we can top that right now, though..."

John Krasinski orchestrated the most ideal Zoom surprise for one young fan.
