The Saved by the Bell reboot trailer have been released

After it was confirmed that the teen series would be getting a reboot, the first look at the new look Saved By The Bell was highly anticipated amount fans of the show.

The teaser was released by Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service, on Wednesday featuring original cast members A.C. Slater, played by Mario Lopez, and Jessie Spano, played by Elizabeth Berkley.

Now Governor of California, Zack "gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state, including Bayside High".

With the new series following a group of teenagers (some of them children of the original cast), the 1989 Saved by the Bell followed the lives of a group of high schoolers, including Slater, Jessie, and Zack, as well as Kelly, Lisa, and Screech, who grappled with relationships, school, and drugs.

He's later shown chatting to Jessie, "Remember how much fun high school used to be?"

New faces in the halls of Bayside include Josie Totah, Mitchell Hoog, Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, Haskiri Velazquez, and Alycia Pascual-Pena. "Oh, it was actually your dad, over your mom!"

Elsewhere, business-savvy Zack has put his skills to good use and worked his way through the political system. "What did that blonde fool just say to me?" According to Yahoo, Diamond was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct in 2015 and was arrested again in 2016 for violating the terms of his probation.

While Peacock will launch on July 15 nationally with new shows ready to go, the hope is that Saved By The Bell will be finished in time to make a 2020 debut.

After a 30 year absence, Saved By The Bell is returning to screens. The streaming service officially launches on July 15, but is now available for Comcast Xfinity TV and Flex broadband customers.
