The digital event, which was curated by Lady Gaga, will feature appearances from pop culture's biggest, singers, actors, comedians and artists as well as philanthropists and global health experts.

Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, and many more delivered powerful virtual performances during Saturday's "One World: Together at Home" concert.

'What Global Citizen has done with all of us and the World Health Organization is so handsome, ' said the singer born Stefani Germanotta.

Global Citizen is also urging philanthropists, companies and governments to support the WHO in its coronavirus response efforts, saying its already raised $35 million for local organizations and the worldwide health body's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Money raised will go towards the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, as well as local and regional charities helping those in need and will "celebrate and support courageous healthcare workers doing life-saving work on the front lines".

The world is a special place, and we're all together at home. Lady Gaga gets the credit for helping to curate the first-of-it's-kind collaborative, star-studded event by Global Citizen and hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

Catch One World: Together At Home on Sunday, 19 April at 10 a.m. AEST on Network 10 and simulcast on 10 Play.

This event will be streamed around the world, but USA viewers can catch it on ABC, CBS, and NBC to start. iHeart Media and Bell Media will also stream the event. Here's everything you should know to catch it in Hawai'i.

After all, Gaga and the Global Citizen team had already raised more than $50 million before the special even began airing.

Last week, Lady Gaga said at a media briefing she had helped raise $35 million United States dollars for WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund through outreach efforts.

The whole extravaganza will stream online at platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Amazon Prime, and part of it will air on TV.

Gaga kicked off the hours-long event with a heartwarming speech that was dedicated to the healthcare workers working on the front lines to fight the COVID-19 outbreak.
