Cancelled FastPass and dining reservations: What to know about the Disney reopening

As we begin to reach out to our cast members and call them back to work, they will be focused on operating our parks in a responsible way that continues to give our guests opportunities to create magical Disney memories.

We do not know which resorts will be opening and when.

As Disney fans hold their breath in anticipation for Governor DeSantis' official go-ahead to reopen The Happiest Place on Earth, some changes to the official announcement have already been made.

The move is part of Walt Disney World's phased reopening plan for resorts and theme parks across the country. According to the website, "new ticket sales are temporarily paused". Every guest will need a reservation time, and entry will not be given to guests who just show up to the parks without a reservation, even if they have tickets. Additional details will be shared with these Guests soon.

The official website notice does include, however, Disney Vacation Club Property reopenings in Vero Beach set for June 15, as well as Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground set for June 22. EPCOT will be open from 11 a.m.to 9 p.m. and Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open from 10 a.m.to 8 p.m. starting July 15.

According to the Disney Parks blog, "FastPass+ service will be suspended for the time being as we plan to use additional queue space to manage capacity at our attractions and maintain physical distancing".
